Mr. Berger worked as a Certified Public Accountant (1980-1988), and as a transactional lawyer (1988-1994); as such, he continues to regularly advise clients on a variety of tax, health care, estate, trust, probate, and business related matters. Mr. Berger is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, American Board of Trial Advocates (Member), the Christian Legal Society, the Fresno County Bar Association and the State Bars of California and Florida.
Education
Bruce J. Berger graduated from California State University, Fresno, in 1980, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option), and received his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in 1984.
Joshua D. Milton
Attorney
Mr. Milton received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Fresno Pacific University in 2009, and his Juris Doctor from San Joaquin College of Law in 2018, where he graduated with distinction. Mr. Milton was admitted to the California Bar in January 2019, and began practicing law as an associate of the law firm of Stammer, McKnight, Barnum & Bailey LLP before joining Bruce J. Berger Law Firm, Inc. in 2021. Mr. Milton is experienced in all phases of civil defense litigation, including jury trial and appellate work experience. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Milton spent 16 years at Reedley Lumber Company where he developed an appreciation for small businesses and their importance to local communities.

Lonnie joined Bruce J. Berger Law Firm, Inc. in 2021 and previously worked as a dental practice administrator. Lonnie is committed to providing the highest level of service to our clients and grateful to have the opportunity to work with attorneys who help people in the community. Lonnie is a California Notary Public and is currently enrolled in the Paralegal Studies program at Fresno City College.
